Planinarski dom Pod Vošcem is located on Biokovo, at about 1,300 metres above sea level, above Makarska. Surrounded by mountain and nature, the house is a place for a rest after hiking, but also for all those who want to spend time on Biokovo far from the town crowds.
It offers traditional mountain dishes, homemade specialties and drinks, with an emphasis on local ingredients. The cuisine is adapted to the mountain ambience and to simpler, substantial dishes that go down well after time spent in nature.
The house is furnished in a rustic style, and the terrace offers a wide panoramic view towards Makarska and the surrounding Biokovo. It is suitable for hikers, families, couples and groups, regardless of hiking experience.
Planinarski dom Pod Vošcem is open all year round, making it an interesting stop on Biokovo outside the main tourist season as well.
